Inspired by the fierce battle between Nezha and the East Sea Dragon King, this piece of work narrates the familiar Chinese folklore of this mythological deity. Each motif is an amalgamation of various components - oriental seals and instruments, sea creatures, as well as the human anatomy.

By juxtaposing the ferocious nature of the battle scene with child-like candy colours, the intensity of the fight is toned down, creating a comfortable and whimsical atmosphere, which invites viewers to be part of it.
